NEW YORK: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said that Indian government should have conducted a thorough probe into the firing incident in Uri area of Indian-held Kashmir before blaming Pakistan for it.
“An enquiry or investigation should have been held into this incident. Probe into such incidents take several days or weeks. Can you reach to conclusion within 10 to 12 hours? Doing this within no time has caused doubts in every mind,” the prime minister said.
He said that the government was successfully meeting all three challenges including power crisis, economic revival and the elimination of terrorism from the country.
