ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Member of National Assembly (MNA) Sardar Awais Leghari said on Sunday that India was violating the Line of Control (LoC) to divert the world’s attention from violence in Indian-occupied Kashmir (IOK).
Talking to a private news channel, he said that the Kashmiris have been fighting against India for their right to self-determination since decades.
He claimed that Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) government being under immense pressure in India was also a reason of the tensions at LoC as Modi’s government were not able to deliver to its people.
Leghari said that because of the damage at LoC by Indian forces, the residents were planning to migrate. This is a serious issue and human rights organisations should pay attention to this.
