PESHAWAR: A group of extremists have destroyed a government school in the Mohmand Agency – an area of Federally Administrative Tribal Areas (FATA).
Political sources said that extremists have exploded the ‘Government Boys Primary School’. “The extremists planted an explosive in the school during the night – whose explosion resulted in the building collapsing. However, no loss of human life is reported,” sources said.
The sources further said that political administration and security personnel have reached the crime scene after the incident and started investigation after cordoned off the area.
It is worth-mentioning here that a total of 127 schools have been destroyed in Mohmand Agency of FATA – out of which some 64 were located in Tehsil Safi.
