Pind Dadan Khan: At least three members of a family were killed and another injured during a collision between a truck and a motorcycle on Khewra Road in Pind Dadan Khan on Saturday. The truck driver fled the scene. Police said that Aftab, 18, along with his mother and two young sisters was passing through the Khewra Road when a truck coming from opposite direction hit them from the front.
As a result, Aftab, his mother and his one sister were killed on the spot while his second sister was seriously injured. Police said that the family belonged to Riaz, an imam of a local mosque in Khewra.
The bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities while the seriously injured girl was referred to Rawalpindi. The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
