ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) joined hands with National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for printing ‘say no to corruption’ on all driving licenses.
NAB Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry on Monday welcomed printing of its message on all driving licenses issued by ITP to create awareness among people about ill effects of the corruption.
“NAB’s 16-year experience shows the struggle against corruption as – not fight of one man or one institution – rather the responsibility of every citizen,” he said.
“We can only win this war through collective efforts. We need to show cooperation and spirit to fight menace of corruption,” he said in a statement. As per the chairman’s directions, NAB is pursuing ‘Awareness and Prevention’ campaign throughout the country to curb corruption and corrupt practices.
It is pertinent to mention here that to spread message against corruption was proposed to ITP which responded positively and has started printing the message on driving licenses.
